European Commission publishes first set of draft European Sustainability Reporting Standards

On 9 June 2023, the European Commission published a draft delegated act containing the first set of the European Sustainability Reporting Standards. After its adoption, the companies falling under the scope of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive will be required to report information on certain environmental, social and human rights, governance matters in accordance with these standards. The draft act is open for public feedback until 7 July 2023. Read more in our client alert below.
