VBB Wins EU Approval of TSYS-Global Payments Merger

Van Bael & Bellis partner Porter Elliott and associate Catherine Gordley assisted US payment solutions provider Total System Services in obtaining EU approval of its $21.5 billion merger with rival Global Payments. The transaction, which was announced in May 2019, was notified to the European Commission on 9 August and unconditionally approved on 16 September.
