On 29 April 2020, Van Bael & Bellis partner Fabrizio Di Gianni participated in a webinar on the role of the European Union and the principle of solidarity in the current coronavirus outbreak organised by the Department of Law and the Department of Political Science, University of Naples Federico II. Fabio Ferraro, Professor, University of Naples Federico II, introduced the webinar, in which Jacques Ziller, Professor, University of Pavia, Susana Cafaro, Professor, University of Salento, and Fabrizio Di Gianni intervened as speakers. The webinar was moderated by Giuseppe Tesauro, former Advocate General at the European Court of Justice and Chairman of the Italian Competition Authority and Emeritus President of the Italian Constitutional Court. The summing up and closing remarks were delivered by Roberto Mastroianni, Judge at the General Court of the EU.
