VBB Transactions Tournament Vol. 2 – An immersive experience for law students

We are excited to announce the second edition of the VBB - Van Bael & Bellis Transactions Tournament (VBBTT), taking place on 22 October 2024 at our Brussels office. In partnership with ELSA Belgium, the event is an opportunity for law students to showcase their transactional skills in a high-stakes, real-world environment.
We bring together bright young minds from universities across Belgium, challenging them to prepare, negotiate and ‘’close’’ the acquisition of a company within a single day. Participants work in teams to tackle complex transactional challenges, simulating the experience of real-life deals that corporate and finance lawyers navigate daily.
Apart from competing from a prize, this is also an opportunity for students to:
- Experience the thrill of mergers and acquisitions in a way no classroom setting can convey
- Develop practical negotiation skills
- Network with VBB’s top legal professionals and with peers
- Gain insight into what it’s like to be a part of a diverse, multicultural firm.
