Uğur Hekim speaks at University of Giessen

On 14th December 2022, VBB Associate Uğur Hekim was invited by the Fachbereich Rechtswissenschaft at the Justus-Liebig Universitat Gießen, Germany, as a guest lecturer. His topic was Establishing and Keeping Peace through Foreign Trade and Economic Policies? An analysis of the role of Türkiye. He spoke about foreign trade and economic policies of Türkiye as a way to establishing and keeping peace, with a particular focus on the on-going Ukraine-Russia conflict.
The lecture was part of a series organised by the Section “Staatlichkeit und Internationale Transformationen” in which experts from different fields and backgrounds contribute to on-going conversations on international relations
