Catherine Longeval participates in the ABA Life Sciences 2018 Conference in Copenhagen

On 11 June 2018, Van Bael & Bellis partner Catherine Longeval participated in the Life Sciences Conference 2018 of the ABA’s Section of International Law in Copenhagen.
Catherine was part of a panel that discussed the challenges posed by new and evolving technologies in the life sciences sector, such as wearable devices, gene therapy and use of big data and real world evidence. She also made a presentation on “Health Technology Assessment from an EU Perspective”. The other panellists were Ida Sofie Jensen, CEO of the Danish Association of the Pharmaceutical Industry, and Dr. Stephan Rau of McDermott Will & Emery. The session was moderated by Niels Walther-Rasmussen of Mazanti-Andersen Korsø Jensen.
