On 18 September 2018, Van Bael & Bellis counsel Etsuko Kameoka spoke on recent developments in EU competition law significant for Japanese business at a seminar organised by The Japanese Institute of International Business Law in Tokyo. Etsuko’s presentation covered recent cartel investigations, vertical restraints, abuse of dominant position, merger control, private damage actions and recent legislative developments, including the proposed EU framework for screening foreign direct investment inflows into the EU.
