Elyse Kneller speaks at VBB sponsored WTO 2023 Public Forum

VBB is proud to sponsor the World Trade Organization (WTO)’s 2023 Public Forum, taking place on 12-15 September in Geneva. As the WTO’s largest outreach event, the Forum attracts over 2,000 participants from a wide range of stakeholders, including business, government, and international organisations. Its aim is to discuss the latest developments in global trade and propose enhancements to the multilateral trading system.
This year’s Forum, titled “It is time for action”, will discuss how trade can contribute to a more sustainable future, with a focus on the services sector, digitalisation and inclusive trade policies. VBB Associate Elyse Kneller [insert link to bio] will join representatives from the University of New South Wales (China International Business and Economic Law (CIBEL) Centre), Georgetown University Law School and Singapore Management University Yong Pung How School of Law as well as the Co-Chair of the WTO Chairs Program (Mexico) in discussing how critical minerals strategies can cause regional and global confrontations and disruptions and how the WTO can help address these challenges.
