Van Bael & Bellis successfully represented Marcegaglia Plates – a subsidiary of the Italian steel group Marcegaglia - in an anti-dumping investigation initiated by Mexico against imports of steel plates originating in Italy and Japan. Marcegaglia Plates was the only exporter exempted from the anti-dumping measures imposed vis-à-vis all other Italian and Japanese producers.

During the proceedings, Marcegaglia Plates was represented by Van Bael & Bellis partners Fabrizio Di Gianni and Gabriele Coppo as well as associate Rosa Aldonza. A copy of the Decree terminating the proceedings (available only in Spanish) can be found here.
