Van Bael & Bellis partners win two Lawyer of the Year Awards in Best Lawyers 2020 guide

On 28 June 2019, Best Lawyers published the results of their latest market research for their 2020 guide. In this year’s rankings, two Van Bael & Bellis partners have been recognized for their work with Lawyer of the Year Awards:
- Peter L’Ecluse is Lawyer of the Year for Biotechnology and Life Science Practice
- David Hull is Lawyer of the Year for European Union Law.
For Competition/Antitrust Law, Jean-François Bellis, Richard Burton, Porter Elliott, David Hull, Andrzej Kmiecik, Peter L’Ecluse, Johan Van Acker, Kris Van Hove and Markus Wellinger are recommended. For Trade, Philippe De Baere, Fabrizio Di Gianni, Clotilde du Parc, Richard Luff, Pablo Muñiz, Yuriy Rudyuk and Benoît Servais are listed alongside Jean-François Bellis. Catherine Longeval is recommended for Litigation, in respect of which Quentin Declève is also newly recommended. Reshad Forbes is listed for Regulatory Practice alongside Jean-François Bellis, who is also listed for Government Practice. In addition, Jean-François Bellis is also listed for European Union Law, alongside David Hull, recipient of this year’s Lawyer of the Year Award for this category.
