Van Bael & Bellis London has been listed in Legal 500 UK (which was published this week) as a “Firm to Watch” in the fields of both International Arbitration and Public International Law. This ranking comes after the Firm launched its International Disputes practice in London only nine months ago in January 2021.

    The 2019 Hague Judgments Convention to enter into force in September 2023

    On 29 August 2022, the European Union deposited its instrument of accession to the Convention of 2 July 2019 on the Recognition and Enforcement of Foreign Judgments in Civil or Commercial Matters (the “Hague Judgments Convention”).
