Philippe De Baere authors WTO chapter for The International Trade Law Review (6th Edition)

Van Bael & Bellis managing partner and head of the trade practice Philippe De Baere recently authored the WTO chapter in the sixth edition of The International Trade Law Review published by Law Business Research. The chapter examines some of the key developments in WTO case law over the past year and addresses the Multiparty Interim Appeal Arbitration Agreement (MPIA) that was agreed between the European Union and like-minded WTO members as a means of preserving the appeal stage of the WTO dispute settlement in the absence of a functioning WTO Appellate Body.
