Isabelle Van Damme has been quoted today by Politico in an article on how the EU Commission intends to rebuild credibility of the EU’s trade policy by rolling out a new model of trade agreement that no longer covers investment protection, effectively removing the veto powers over ratification of such agreements by regional assemblies, such as the Belgian regional parliament of Wallonia.
