Hannelore Matthys named as “Rising star” by IFLR1000

Van Bael & Bellis associate Hannelore Matthys has been named as a “Rising star” by IFLR1000 in their rankings for 2020 recently published online. Since 2013, Hannelore has been a member of the Corporate M&A team, which works on a range of cross-border matters including private and public M&A, private equity work and joint ventures. The M&A team has maintained its ranking and head of the team Michel Bonne is once again named as “Highly regarded”.
IFLR1000 also names 8 Van Bael & Bellis lawyers for EU Competition. Van Bael & Bellis senior counsel Richard Burton is named as a “Rising star”, while partners Jean-François Bellis, Porter Elliott, David W. Hull, Andrzej Kmiecik, Kris Van Hove, Johan Van Acker and Markus Wellinger are all named as “Highly regarded”.
