Van Bael & Bellis partner Porter Elliott was quoted by Global Competition Review in an article published on 30 November 2018. The article concerned the European Commission’s opening of an in-depth Phase II investigation into Luxembourg-based metal manufacturer Aperam’s proposed acquisition of rival German manufacturer VDM, the second Phase II investigation to be opened in two days and the eighth currently open – four of which are in the metal manufacturing sector.
