Jean-François Bellis chairs a panel on “Tackling Unfair Pricing in the Pharma Sector” in the conference “Advanced EU Competition Law, Digital Edition 2020”. The panel is part of the Focus Day devoted to “Competition Law in the Age of Covid-19 Pandemic” on 7 September 2020. The discussion focused on the approaches taken by the national competition authorities in Italy, the Netherlands and the UK to tackle excessive pricing, price-gouging and other unfair practices in the Covid-19 era. The panel members are Alessandro Massolo, Economic Advisor, Autorita Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato (Italy), Wolf Sauter, Expert, Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets, and Simon Roberts, Economics Director, Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) (UK).
