GCR quotes Jean-François Bellis on the reduced number of competition appeals to the EU Court

On 3 July 2017, GCR quoted extensively from a presentation given by Van Bael & Bellis managing partner Jean-François Bellis at a conference entitled EU Courts and Competition Law: Myths, Gaps and Challenges. The conference was organised by the Chillin’ Competition Blog and held in Brussels yesterday.
The subject of Jean-François’ presentation was “Why do so many defendants choose to settle rather than appeal?” and he examined the situation regarding cartels, mergers and abuse of dominance cases. GCR’s report is available here.
