Overview

Helin Öcal's expertise covers all aspects of EU, UK and international trade law, focusing on WTO law and trade defence investigations across multiple jurisdictions. Helin provides legal advice to governments on their WTO disputes and represents companies, governments and trade associations in their safeguard, anti-dumping, anti-subsidy, and anti-circumvention investigations across a wide range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, petroleum products and fisheries.

Prior to joining Van Bael & Bellis, Helin gained experience at leading law firms in İstanbul, specialising in commercial litigation, corporate law and social security law.
